The rare Baldock Knife Spear was patented in 1902 by Major Charles Blair Baldock for the use of hunting or military purposes. This example is by James Dickson & Son's, Sheffield, England.
The blade is in good condition but showing some slight black spotting. The bayonette mechanism in the hilt is all working.
The original scabbed with brass chape is in excellent condition and so is the alusive hanging frog.
